So people are calling this a racially charged fight..
it’s a shame that racism will never die until people let it go….
If the white guy was bleeding would this be considered justice?
It’s just a fight between two people who had a disagreement…nothing more

*Below the victim

On a chilly morning in February 2009, state police found 26-year-old Kenzie Houk in her bed with a bullet though her head. She was eight months pregnant.

The search for her killer ended with the most surprising murder suspect residents of Wampum, Pennsylvania, had ever seen: 11-year-old Jordan Brown, the son of the victim’s fiancé.

He is one of the youngest suspects in the country to be charged with homicide, legal experts say. There are two counts of homicide, one covering the fetus.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges in May.

DNA analysis of human hair preserved in Greenland’s permafrost has given clues as to what the owner looked like.

A study, published in the journal Nature, says the individual’s genome is the oldest to have been sequenced from a modern human.

The researchers say the man, who lived 4,000 years ago, had brown eyes and thick dark hair, although he would have been prone to baldness.

They say the genome also shows that his ancestors migrated from Siberia.

The man has been named Inuk, which means “human” in the Greenlandic language.

“We wanted to acknowledge that he was from Greenland, even though he is not a direct ancestor of modern Greenlanders,” said Professor Eske Willerslev from the University of Copenhagen, who took part in the study.

The researchers say an analysis of the genome shows that Inuk was from the Saqqaq culture.

The team now has genetic evidence that Inuk’s metabolism and body mass meant he was adapted to living in a cold climate.

The Saqqaq hunted seals and seabirds and relied on the sea for most of their food. Archaeological remains show they lived in tiny tents in winter.

“It’s a very hostile environment and I was really surprised that people could live up there,” explained Professor Willerslev.

Inuk had shovel-shaped front teeth, according to the research team. He also had dry earwax, which would have made him more vulnerable to ear infections.

He is thought to have died young because, although his genes show susceptibility to baldness, tufts of thick hair were found.

Siberian connection

The analysis took a year and the genome sequence suggested that the Saqqaq’s closest living relatives were native populations in north-eastern Siberia, such as the Chuckchis and the Koryaks. The scientists say the Saqqaqs were probably not ancestors of contemporary Inuit or Native American populations.

This suggests, the researchers say, that the Saqqaqs migrated from Siberia to the New World approximately 5,500 years ago. This would have been independent of the movement that gave rise to modern Native Americans and Inuit.

Professor Willerslev explained that it was not known how the people made the crossing from Siberia to Greenland and Alaska.

“There was no land bridge between Siberia and Alaska at that time, so they must have crossed either by boat or in the winter time over the ice. No one knows,” he said.

What happened to the Saqqaq people and why they died out also remains a mystery. “Was it climatic change, was it competition from other cultures coming in? We have no idea,” said Professor Willerslev.

That’s one small step for [a] man, one giant leap for Google

How much pressure does it take to get Chinese officials to crack down on would-be cyber-criminals? Plenty, but there’s been modest movement recently with the shuttering of an alleged hacker training operation.

Police in central China have shut down the organization that openly recruited thousands of members online. The folks who ran the “Black Hawk Safety Net” provided its “students” with cyber-attack lessons and malicious software, Chinese state media said recently.

Officials say the training group schooled paying customers in Web site hacking techniques and Trojan software.

The shutdown comes as concern continues to mount that China is a center for industrial espionage and criminal behavior on the Web.

The situation got so bad recently, search giant Google threatened to abandon the country, ostensibly because of Chinese censorship. But the threatened pullout came after the software giant charged that Google e-mail accounts were hacked from China.

Google wasn’t the lone victim in that assault, which also hit at least 20 other companies. But it was by far the biggest player with the most muscle.

Seems that flexing that muscle had at least a small impact.

Nobody seems to know if the lawlessness surrounding China’s Web activities is the result of independent criminals or if there’s any state or military involvement in the schemes.

But for now, the hacker training operation — and its 12,000 paying subscribers, as well as its 170,000 free members — will have to find another home. Seems that officials seized five computers and a car,  shut down all Web sites involved in the case and froze 1.7 million yuan ($250,000) in assets along with arresting three people.

Americans charged with Haiti kidnap

Ten Americans accused of trying to take 33 children out of Haiti illegally in the aftermath of last month’s earthquake, have been charged with child kidnapping and criminal association.

Jean Ferge Joseph, a Haitian deputy prosecutor, announced the charges on Thursday and told the five men and five women that their case was being sent to an investigative judge.

“That judge can free you but he can also continue to hold you for further proceedings,” he told them at a hearing.
